Mashall Code 100 combo

Hi Marshall Support,

I own a Marshall Code 100 combo. My question is, if I plug my amp to a pa system via the rear speaker connection, the speaker on my amp doesn't work any more. How do I regulate this. I want to hear my amp at the same time it's connected to the pa system.

Thank you for your answer,

Andy

Exactly what connection are you using? All I can see on the back of the Code 100 is an FX send and return and a loudspeaker output. None of which are suitable for connecting to a PA. You may even damage your PA if you connect it via the loudspeaker connection.

Simplest thing I would do in your case is stick a microphone in front of the amp and plug the mic into the PA.

I thought the headphone-out can be used as a line-out that can be connected to the PA?!

Yes thats true, but it would also mute the internal speaker. - Joliet Jake 21 Feb 2022 at 07:59 PM
