Audio crackling when using Spotify Connect with Acton Multi-Room

When using Spotify Connect to play music on my new Acton Multi-Room speaker I get intermittent audio crackling, almost like static. Is anyone else having this problem? It does not happen with other audio sources, like internet radio stations.

Hey Mike ,

did you get an answer/solution to this issue? Having the exact same problem with my Stanmore since January.

Nope. I had it with the Acton and then switched to the Stanmore, which had a similar issue but louder. Marshall either doesn't know what's causing the issue or doesn't care. They just offered me refunds so I went and got a HomePod instead. - Mike MC 19 Feb 2021 at 10:45 AM
