Audio Input Quality and Volume

Today I tried to connect my guitar via iRig and a common audio cable to my Code 50.

The sound was really muddy without any treble... Same when I play music from my phone over the audio input...

Can anyone confirm this?

And is there a way to control the input volume?

Thanks and regards

Too bad nobody has an answer yet and that Marshall does not read this forum...

The problem still exists but I have found out that the Line In (MP3 Player Connector) is connected to the Marshall's effects settings.
That means that the sound output of my phone, connected to the Line In, depends on the chosen guitar effects... That's quite odd...

Is there a way to bypass the effects when using the Line In? I just want the Amp to be like a regular speaker!

Thank you

Hi Sergio,

The Code 25 is a guitar amplifier with a option of audio output, this is a feature, you will not get the same audio like you would from a stereo speaker.
