After I upgraded the firmware to the new version there was some unchosen bluetooth troubeling and now even my power-switch stopped working.

The new presets took a while to get enjoyable, but once they  make it, they´re fabolous!

Is there any way to get the power-switch running?

Dear Marshall team:

I use the Code 25 amplifier, with the Gateway app and the Code series footswitch. The firmware is updated with the latest version available.

For a long time I have been noticing certain problems, mainly:

-The preset settings are changed on their own (sometimes the volume, other times the gain...) They are usually changed to the settings on the control knobs. I load the preset again, and after a while some of the settings are changed again.

-Another problem is that after using a preset for a while, when changing to another it does not change (it stays blocked). It does not respond either by using the pedal or by changing the preset from the app I have to turn off the amp. At first I thought it would be a Bluetooth problem, since I was using the Gateway application, with an iPhone. But now I'm using it with an Android phone and I continue to have the same problems.

Waiting for your comments, receive a cordial greeting.

I am new to electric and got this amp from a friend. Love the external features, but hate when my phone audio is always blasting when choosing cloud presets.

In case Marshall decides to do another round of Codes, or for people that want to buy one, here is my bottom line after dealing with this thing for a few years. I had Line 6 experience and wanted a simpler all-in-one modeling combo with a bluetooth app that could do hard rock. The Katana looked like a toy so I bought this.

PROS: Solid construction. Looks great. Good range of amps and effects. Bluetooth app is very good and can tune every parameter. Tones can be downloaded and backed up to/from Marshall site. Amp can sound very good (after a lot of tweaking). The Plexi, American OD, JTM Crunch and Acoustic amps are good. The Guv’nor, Compressor, Chorus, noise gate and all the delays and reverbs are useable. Marshall has done sufficient software updates to correct early issues (bluetooth, tones, bugs). Can be used at bedroom volume with Master on ‘1’. Optional footswitch gives good control. Documentation is good. Updater software on PC works well.

CONS: Other than those mentioned above, all the other amps and effects are bad. This includes the JCM800, JVM and Silver Jubilee. All the cabs are bad. None of the stock patches are usable. You have to make your own. There are user uploaded patches you can try but very few are usable. Learning curve is significant. The amp is too loud. When you turn up from bedroom level to louder, the sounds change and become very boomy which should not happen with a modeling amp. No effects loop. The ‘out’ is a mini USB. Connecting to a computer requires a mini USB to USB or Lightning cable, which is not included. I tried to use the USB to record to Garageband and sound came out but I couldn’t make it sound good. The footswitch also has a learning curve, and like other people I had to have mine replaced.

ADVICE: Don’t buy it. I bought my Code 50 new from Sweetwater for $299 and now the same version of the amp is $399. If you must have a Code, get the 25 instead. It is cheaper and still absurdly loud. The higher volume available in the 50 is useless because it sounds bad. The extra hundred bucks just gets you painfully loud solid state power amp watts.

If you do get a Code, upgrade all the firmware immediately. You need to connect to a computer to do this, but first you have to find the cable on Amazon. This is unforgivable.

BOTTOM LINE: I have spent too many hours tweaking the Code. This is what I hated about Line 6. But the Line 6 tones were superior. I never got a good JCM 800 sound out of the Code, after hundreds of hours of work. It’s only “great” amp sim, oddly, is the American OD. Marshall’s own Classic Metal patch uses this, not a “Marshall” sim! The Code is marketed as Marshall technology with amp sims created by Marshall, but it is not. Softube created the software and tones. This is not a Marshall amp. Line 6 Marshall sims are far better.

I have now bought a tube amp. I am keeping the Code because I have mastered it and can practice on it but I would not buy it again, certainly not for $399.

Suddenly, Bluetooth stopped working right on my phone (Huawei P series)  while I'm playing...  Amp is updated to latest version and every time i want to change preset surprise! The phone is unpaired, it needs to reconnect again... but guess what? Now the screen on my code start blinking, not red or the buttons either, but it blinks like if loosing power or something... I don't know if it might be an electrical issue or it's just a lose cable inside that needs a check.

I am having difficulty getting my Code 50 to connect via bluetooth so I can transfer presets that I like to the amplifier. A forum post response suggested that opening a new page in Chrome and inserting "chrome://flags/#use-winrt-midi-api" will do the trick. I tried on both a Windows 10 and Windows 11 machine and nothing came up. I also searhed inside the new page and it came up empty. Is there another way to do this, or am I doing something wrong?

I turned on bluetooth on my  phone then initiated the bluetooth feature on my code100. find the amp in the It found the amp on my phone so I connected to it and the blue light on the amp quit flashing indicating that they are synced together. When I open the gateway app on my android phone (samsung S20E) it will not find the amp in the menu section of the app. I see the blue tooth symbol there with the word CODE next to it and it says not connected. There is nothing next to the Amps Detected: and when I scan for an amp it turns gray for a few seconds and then back to green. Same thing when i switch between the phone and amp icon in the bottom left corner. when on the phone icon i have presets when I switch to the amp Icon I get nothing displayed. I do have audio .from phone to amp and that s what it says in the blue tooth section in my phone. It says that the code V020150FDU connected for audio

This issue is driving me crazy. My Code 50 used to work with my iphone and ipad, now it refuses to connect and I always get the above message.

I have performed the following:

1. Forgot bluetooth connection on both devices

2. Deleted iphone app and re-installed.

3. Re-paired and tried to connect with same issues,

4. Formed factor preset of amp with no luck.

I know the blueotth connects as I can play music through my amp from phone, I just cannot connect to update any presets.

Any solutions would be greatfully received, am getting so frustrated with this product.

Salve!
Qualche suggerimento? Sto usando Crome aggiornato con smartphone Android.
Grazie.

Hi, I just recieved my Code 50 yesterday "bought brand new" and the amp sounded great until i hooked up to my pc this morning and downloaded a featured preset not a communiy preset. I am running usb not bluetooth and its my studio setup. Now all the distortion and gain sounds like the input gain is wide open clipping the signal coming in at all volume levels, and on all distortion and od gain presets. I tried to reset the amp and did a firmware update now its litterally so bad you cant play it. This is certainly a software issue cause the effects and clean tones sound fine. This happened immediatley after i sent the preset usb from the website to the amp from the pc. Also i tried several guitars, usb cables, guitar cables and even my mac. just dont know wether i should send it back or if thiscan be fixed with a firmware patch or something , Thanks

I have had a chance to spend a few days with the Marshall code 25 and I would like to share with you a few of my findings. I have played guitar professionally for over 30 years and have had all makes and models of guitars and amps in my time, but in general I would have killed for the equipment available to guitarist today.

This is the point where I look at the Code 25 and think “that looks like fun”. I have a few amps kicking about already, mostly gigging volume amps but I also have a Blackstar ID-Core 40, so this would be in reality what I would compare the Code 25 against.

Firstly my experience with the amp and a look around these forums makes one thing apparent. This amp is well named because it is a bit of an enigma.Out of the box I would consider the amplifier not fit for purpose this is really down to a few reasons.

Firstly, some of the presets are just absolutely terrible, I mean some of the worst patches I’ve ever heard on anything, “Small combo” and the “Brit” overdrive amps for instance are shockingly bad. You can make the excuse that all amp and effects units come with bad presets. However this is usually down to strange or weird effects to give bizarre sounds to show off effects but that nobody would ever use in a musical context. However some patches (such as Small Combo) are just basic amp modelling with no effects and are still absolutely terrible. Maybe these sound better on the 50 or 100, but if that’s the case remove them from the 25 it just gives a bad impression.

Secondly, the amp is stupidly loud. I don’t know if this is a marketing decision, but Marshall should look at its target demographic. This thing is a small bedroom practice amp, maybe at a push for some very small live situations, but that is it. Why make the thing so loud? If you need to use this amp near anything over half volume you have bought the wrong amp it’s as simple as that.

Thirdly, some of the modelling is not all it could be with digital artefacts (in the low end in particular), and a fizzy noise gate that for some reason is on patches where there is absolutely no need to have it as the patch is pretty quiet. Once again this is not a professional gigging or recording product and it should be judgged accordingly.

The last bad point I would say against this amp is the tuner, both onboard and on the app are two of the least responsive and wildly inaccurate tuners I have ever seen. Really not even close to tune! Put this down to another marketing tick box.

OK, now the good points.

It seems pretty well made and solid for what it is.

I like the size and weight, ideal for a bedroom practice amp.

I like the complete range of controls on the amp, and how you can do everything on the amp that you can do on the app, and it’s easy to do. Great user interface design work.

I like the Bluetooth features and the app. I know people have had problems with Bluetooth, but both my IOS and Android phones connected right away and are stable. I can stream music no problem from outside the house or in other rooms with no issues.

I like having 100 presets to store all the patches I could want (My Blackstar only had 6, and you can only have 1 for each model).

The headphone socket sounds OK, but if I wanted that as a primary feature I would have just bought headphone amp with effects.

I don’t use the recording over USB feature. If I did I wouldn’t expect something this cheap to be amazing. Once again if you want this you probably have bought the wrong product, and are in the wrong price bracket.

I like the cost, its amazing what it does for the money.

I like the sounds, now that I’ve got rid of the awful ones.

It looks pretty cool.

It’s a Marshall.

To make this amp useable, I basically had to do the following:

  1. Delete all those terrible patches that are just filler and basically just give the user a bad experience. After doing this I was left with around 20 good sounding patches and 20 OK patches, the other 60 I replaced with a patch called “Blank” (which I have put up on this site). That way every patch sound good to me.
  2. I turned the Mater volume up to ¼ (around 9 o’clock)  and went through the remaining patches adjusting the patch volume of each to make it a sensible volume for bedroom levels. This ranged from around 0.3 to 5 for most patches depending on the patch. This means that you have more control over the master volume and can change patches without is suddenly blowing you head off. There is still plent of volume in the amp after doing this. OK I admit if I want to use headphones I have to turn the master up around half way, but that’s no big deal. Likewise as I said I don’t use the USB for recording, but I assume I would have to turn up the volume for that too. I don’t see that as a problem either for a product in this price range.

Overall I like the amp and doing just these 2 thing make it much more of a pleasure to use. The volume level are more what they should be for a product of this type and I don’t ever hear any of the awful patches (there are plenty of good ones).

Maybe other people can share their first experiences or tips with the Code 25?

I have a Marshall Code 50 running MCU version 1.44 and Gateway (Android version 1.5.5) on a Samsung Galaxy S9+ running the latest OS. I can bluetooth pair to the amp and play music, but can not connect to the amp to change my presets from the library.  I have reloaded the latest firmware on the amp, deleted and reinstalled the Gateway app, paired and unpaired several times.  Nothing seems to work.  I even grabbed my old Galaxy S7 Edge phone and that Gateway app on it does the same thing.  Does my amp need to be serviced for Bluetooth connectivity?

Hey, about a month ago, the preset readout faded to being almost unreadable. Then today, it stopped working completely. I can't use it for my guitar or as a Bluetooth player. Not sure what to do next?

NOTE: This is part of a multi-chapter story of which there are forty chapters plus an epilogue. An uncompleted version of this story appeared here at Literotica a few years ago in case it looks familiar to you. The story has been revised and completed. Chapters 37 - 40 and the epilogue are all new material.

Richard was a half hour late getting into the office because of the heavy traffic. As his assistant looked up, she handed him a pile of messages.
https://kostenlosepornoshier.com/de/category/211/Arschloch/popular/1/
"Mr. Villarreal called first thing. His message is on top," said Ms. Ames as Richard walked briskly into his office. "I'll bring you some coffee."

"Thanks," said Richard smiling to her as he headed straight for his desk.

Richard thumbed through his messages and decided the others could wait. As Richard dialed Villarreal's number his assistant sat his coffee down on the desk.

"Thank you, Ms. Ames," said Richard as he covered the mouthpiece with his other hand. "Could you please close the door and hold my calls until I am done."

"Yes," said Villarreal curtly as he answered the phone.

"This is Richard returning you call. I apologize I wasn't here earlier. I was caught in traffic," said Richard.

"That's OK, I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know that I am going to be unavailable for the next couple of days. I have business to attend to, but that shouldn't be a problem. Your package is at its destination and the cameras you requested are in place. I'm emailing you the telephone number for the man who will be your contact at the ranch, and I am copying him on the email as well. He has been instructed to assist you in any way he can," said Villarreal. "Do you understand? Do you have any questions?"

"No, that sounds fine. I appreciate your personal help thus far," said Richard, "and I certainly wouldn't want to impose on you personally any further. I'll give the gentleman a call in just a little while and go over what we need to accomplish today. I'm waiting on a couple of Fedex packages to arrive before I give him a call. And thank you again."

"Very well then," said Villarreal. "I'll be in touch in a few days."

As Villarreal hung up, Richard could see Villarreal's email popup in his inbox. Richard clicked on it and the phone number and Xavier's email address were there. Also contained in the email were the IP addresses and passwords for the two webcams he had requested.

As Richard clicked on one of the hyperlinks in the email and entered the password he could see Deborah in a fetal position on the rope cot, with her wrists bound in the leather restraints and connected to a chain attached to a large black metal ring on the stone block wall above the cot.

When Richard clicked on the other link it showed the wall at the foot of the cot. There were additional black metal rings a couple of feet below the ceiling and spaced about four feet apart. There were similar rings mounted to the floor about two to three feet from the wall. This is an honest to God dungeon, Richard thought as he clicked off. If this does not scare the hell out of Rebekah, nothing will.

Getting back to work, Richard decided to clear his messages and get back to Xavier a little later, after he had a chance to see what was on Deborah's cell phone and what she had left in her car. Perhaps it would give him something more to work with.

Richard spent the next hour clearing his other calls and waiting for Fedex to arrive. As he cleared the last call, Richard opened his briefcase and removed the DVDs inside. He would start reviewing Martin's videos to see if there was any useful footage while he waited. After fast-forwarding his way through the first two DVDs he knew that George's assessment had been about right.

Nevertheless, Richard was keeping a list on the legal pad next to him of the playtimes of action that might help him as he started the process of making Rebekah question herself, her values...her very existence, breaking her down before he turned her over to Deirdre to be molded and manipulated to their purpose.

By the time he had worked his way through half the DVDs he had plenty of bondage stuff between Deborah and Martin and things had already progressed to a constant stream of kinky sex acts with a parade of more and more sex partners doing everything imaginable to Rebekah's mother.
https://thelivenudecam.com/
It was the ninth DVD that made Richard sit up and take notice. There they were, Jim and John losing their virginity to Deborah as dad obviously watched. This video was not stationary like the others, taken from the peep hole in the closet. The video was being shot handheld. Neither Deborah nor the boys seemed to be comfortable with what was going on, but they were obviously following off camera directions.

Deborah was laying spread eagle on the bed and had flaming birthday candles sticking out of the whipped cream on each of her bulbous tits. Her pussy was covered in whipped cream as well and Happy 18th Birthday was written across Deborah's stomach in a sugary gel, like on a birthday cake.

The boys appeared apprehensive at first, but once the candles were blown out and all the whipped cream disappeared into their mouths Deborah got around to doing a little blowing of her own. The boys appeared to be quick learners, thought Richard, as they took Deborah in every way possible, depositing endless loads of cum in her pussy, ass, and mouth. The boys seemed to especially enjoy tit fucking Deborah's gigantic breasts and coming all over her face.

As Richard finished the final DVD, the boys appeared to have made four more visits to Deborah before Martin shot his final video. Each of the boys' videos were handheld like the first and the level of violence and humiliation inflicted on Deborah increased with each one. The apples did not fall far from the tree, Richard thought, as he extracted the last DVD from the laptop.

Richard looked up at the clock and saw that Fedex should be arriving any minute. He had just enough time to email George the tracking information from the DVDs so he could put together an oldies but goodies version for him to use on Rebekah. He also asked George to send a couple of copies of the DVD home with Deirdre tonight so he would have one for Big John in the morning.

As Richard continued to wait for the Fedex delivery he started to prepare a list for Big John. He would have Big John sweep Deborah's home and pull anything else that would be useful that he could bring back to the office. Richard made a note to make sure that all the bills were left on the dining room table so Rebekah could see the dire financial condition her mother was in, and by extension, herself. Richard would have Big John stage the house to tell the story Richard wanted Rebekah to see and hear.

Richard remembered to have Big John pick up a large screen plasma TV this evening as well, to mount on the wall in Deborah's playroom. He made a note to remind Big John to make sure it had a DVD built in and would be easy to operate.

Suddenly Richard remembered that he had forgotten about the photographs. They were still in his trunk. Richard got up and headed for the elevator to retrieve the grocery bag full of photos. As he made his way to the elevator, he could see the Fedex driver making a delivery at one of the other offices down the corridor. Good, thought Richard, he could examine the parcels from Mexicali and El Centro when he came back from the parking structure.

-----

The SUV was already waiting for Deirdre as she carried her two small bags to the front door. The driver took them from her, and she excused herself to say goodbye to Jana and Sophie, who were still by the pool. Deirdre never seemed to tire of looking at these beautiful women's bodies. Their freshly oiled flesh glistened in the sun now that they had finished massaging each other.

Deirdre strode over to them and both women got up from their chaises to give her a going away kiss. Deirdre was careful to just give each of them a peck on the lips since she did not want the oil all over her clothing. Deirdre stroked each of their pussies with her index fingers and felt their slick moistness. She looked at each of them sensuously as their bodies responded, saying, "you have no idea how much I am going to miss you tonight," as she stuck each of her index fingers in her mouth and licked them dry.

As usual, Deirdre had the last word as she turned and walked quickly inside and then to the waiting SUV as the two women tried to quell the fire that Deirdre had just started between their legs.

Deirdre and her assistant had gone over the airline reservations earlier and they realized that they could book the boys on the same flight with Deirdre. In fact, she could pick them up on the way to Sky Harbor. Deirdre's assistant laughed when she told her that the boys were already packed when she called to confirm their airline reservations.

Deirdre's assistant knew her too well. She had not told the boys that Deirdre would be on the same flight. She knew Deirdre liked surprises. As they drove down the dusty road toward the interstate highway, Deirdre was already thinking about how she would initiate her two new young protégés into the mile-high club on the flight back to LA. Deirdre was sure their mother would not object.

-----

The Fedex envelope was on Richard's desk and a large box was on the floor next to it when he returned from the parking structure. Richard first ripped open the envelope from the hotel in El Centro containing the cell phone. It still had nearly a full charge and Richard was glad that it was similar to his old cell phone. Richard rummaged through his bottom desk drawer and found the old charger and made sure it would work.

As Richard scanned the contents of the phone, he was pleased to discover that Rebekah had her own cell phone and that there was a listing for Richie. Richard made a mental note to give Big John a call with the number. Perhaps he could run Richie down with it. Also listed was the name and direct line for the head mistress of the academy. That would prove useful as well.

The first issue was no bluetooth communication with my Ipad. I now use a Kindle fire and it's working great. Now I will be playing a preset and the volume drops out to almost nothing. Has anybody discovered a fix? This is a Code 25 I really want to love this amp because when it works it's great. The problems it has are making me fall out of love fast. I expected a lot more from Marshall, I have almost all Yamaha product and never have problems.

Guys -

You need to get someone to fix the Bluetooth capabilities with this product line, like, yesterday. I updated the firmware yesterday, which was extremely difficult to do in the first place, uninstalled / reinstalled the Gateway app today, and still cannot connect to the amp except via my phone's native Bluetooth options to use it as a speaker. I am running ios 13.3.1.

I've scoured your web site, I've watched your videos, I've been all over Google and Youtube, and I am nowhere. In addition, I'm legitimately concerned by other reviews that the amp is simply not going to sound as good given I've updated the firmware. Will post again if that's the case.

I will see if I can push new presets to the amp via a hard connection to my PC, but you need to do serious damage control on this product line considering your leading selling point has proven to not work as intended, if at all.
