I am looking at purchasing a matched quartet of Tung-Sol 5881 (Medium) from Musician's Friend

I'm having troubles connecting the marshall code to my computer. I'm usings a USB mini-b cable and I cant get the program to work after I follow the procedures. Am I using the right cable?

I have the PEDL 90008 footcontroller for this amp. Could you advise, please, how many different chosen sounds can be saved via the pedal, or, indeed, the channel buttons. The Owners Manual isn't quite clear enough for a non-techie like me. I would like to have all my preferred sounds available on the amp or pedal, as opposed to having an array of stomp boxes. 1st - on half a dozen occasions my code 25 has locked up when saving an edited preset. The only way to sort it is to switch it off and back on again.
2nd - I'm getting a lot of hissing noisy coming through the amp when playing, when lightly plucking a string the noise is really noticeable this fault is even worse when playing at low volume.
I hope you can offer some sort of fix for these concerns so the experience of play my amp is not a disappointment.

I recently bought both of the above products. After a bit of messing I managed to get my head around setting up the Pedal. However, now the amp seems to be set to the adjustments made via the pedal i.e. the Overdrive channel now permanently has a delay setting, even when the pedal is disconnected. I have tried resetting the amplifier, but this doesn't seem to reset to factory setting permanently -only until I turn the amp off again.
Any ideas would appreciated.

I'm looking for a back metal cover for my JCM900 Head. Possibly a user manual. It has a number stamped on the rear of the amp that is Z02174, might anybody know what that number stands for? Any suggestions? Thank's.
