I own a Marshall JVM 215c. I purchased this when I was living in Portsmouth. I didn't have much of a chance to use it as I was also studying for a degree at the time. I then moved up North. So 7 years later I'm in a position to crack back on with guitar (finally).

So I dust off my JVM 215c. Turn it on. Nothing happens. There is sorta a thump sound when I turn the power on. But then nothing.

Does this sound like a valve issue? And if so, is it easy to fix myself? Or does this amp need a professional to look at it?

Hi - just recieved a code 50 footswicth, new and out of the box..   Plugged in and no lights, used a ferw different cables but still no sign of life..  Any advice..?

I am trying to find out some information on a guitar amp. My father recently passed away and left an amplifier. Due to space constraints im sadly unable to keep it and was looking for a bit of information so it can head to a good home.

It is a master model MK2 50w, serial number 00195L.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to replace the power tubes with a new kit of 4 matched EL34 and I would like to know what is the BIAS setting recomended by Marshal in terms of how much mV we should adjust on the reading of the Test Pins  CON5. I found someware that is 90mV per side, but also other different info (some guy said 76mV after consultation with a techician). Please could uoy kindly advice?

I just updated the firmware and gateway. The app stops on android when you are going to change a parameter within the preset that is on the screen.

It didn´t happen before. Could you fix it?

My chassis says PWB980801A and after being told to junk this amp I saw an article that said burnt components definately harm other parts.  The burned parts on my circuit board are 1.) ZD3, 2.)another ZD3, 3.)R111&270J DAEDO, 4.)R112&330J DAEDO, 5.)a blue resistor with 2 black and 2 red rings on it, 6.)desoldered TR10, TR15, TR6 & TR9.  When I lived at 522 Rhea Street in Long Beach, CA  someone I was living with asked me to take my guitar and amp outside and play.  I did but a policeman said he would have me arrested is I didn't go back inside.  I would like to keep this amp but it is kind of loud for the one room where I live.  All the repairmen I've found have refused to fix it.  I told ASCAP about VanHalen and got $5,000.00 and bought this amp in 1984.       

I can connect to audacity with no problems. However I bought a professional version of Presonus Studio One. Been trying for days to get it to work. I have seen that others are having the same issue. It doesn't look like anyone has even made an attempt to answer. I would think you would want to have your amp heard on proffesional recordings. Or at least help those that bought your amp.

The connection is usb cable from amp to PC. This is the error we recieve.

Hi, I bought the above amp as a standby should my JMD1 bow out. I've had the HCFX about 5 years and never had to use it. However, the issue is the gain/eq/volume controls do nothing in either preset or manual mode. All else (FX/buttons and master) controls are fine. I've reset the amp several times with no change. I'm an electronics engineer and don't mind getting my hands dirty and prod about with a scope or meter. I've had a look around, but nothing obvious. Any help you could give would be appreciated.

Now I have bought a Marshall Code 25 for my Epiphone guitar  and I would like to know if this amp can be used also wit an electric bass.

I bought this amp second hand last year and have had this problem from the very first day. The reverb simply doesn't work properly. I occasionally get some of it when I first turn the amp on set to the red channel but this quickly stops after a few minutes or if I switch to the clean channel. Footswitch only works for changing channel and does not turn reverb on or off. Any suggestions on what I should do?

I have the code 25 and an Ibanez S521 (HH).

Has anyone any suggestions in settings for a  distorted sound for heavy metal but to be thick and punchy (MESA style)? All existing presets are thin and without a low end in my ears sound really weak.

Suggestions for external pedals are also welcome but until now I understood that there is not any guaranty that a pedal will sound as in a non modelling amp.

My Major IV is not working in Bluetooth Mode:

• does not opening, 
• does not charging
• only work in wired mode
• Only 7months of usage

i wasn thinking about buying a marshall code 100 but im not sure if its useable with the marshall code amp app. 

I'm finding it hard to register my brand new Origin50C. Can't find the serial number it's covered by a sticker on the box. No where on the amp itself can I find the serial number
