Was kann man dagegen tun? Entstörfilter in die Signal-Chain einbauen? Abschirmung der Gitarre gegen störende Induktion verbessern (Faraday'scher Käfig) ?
Herzlichen Dank im Voraus
FarrierPete

Hello, friends of Blues & Rock,
I'm new here on My.Marshall.com. I'm looking for a manual and datasheet with technical data and possibly a diagram of the circuit for the MG50GFX amp I've just bought. I'm also looking for the same for the "Stompware for MG" multi-function footswitch.
I am also looking for advice on a sound problem. If my switched-on Superstrat is about one meter in front of the switched-on amp, I hear an annoying hum (50Hz). The funny thing is that I can switch the hum on and off with the guitar's 5-way switch. The hum is particularly noticeable when a single-coil PU is switched to solo. The humbucker, on the other hand, does exactly what you would expect it to do: it suppresses the hum,
What can you do about it? Install interference suppression filters in the signal chain? Improve the guitar's shielding against interfering induction (Faraday cage)?
Many thanks in advance
FarrierPete
Have an Iphone cannot get it to pair with my new code 50 amp????????
Already looked on Youtube for answer and that didn't work??????????????????
i just want to find the full manual, but after i check all the web pages, i still couldn't find it. Help me please.
My new JTM45 acts strange on the input side. The two top inputs are supposed to be normal sensitivity and the two bottom ones lower sensitivity. On mine the two top inputs are just lower level, less treble versions of the bottom two inputs. Just sounding dull and lower level. Also, jumping the 1&2 inputs does not work. When jumping, channel 1 takes over and channel 2 almost does not add anything (just a tad) even when the normal loudness level is set to max (and the high treble loudness level is still low). What can I do?
Hey all, have just received a ST20H, considerable scratching on the presence dial (only) would this be inherent to the amp?
Thanks!
Hello! Do you have any idea where I could find a fitting button to replace a missing one?
Hi,
I'm having some problems with my Marshall MG15MSZW Zakk Wylde Mini Stack and would like to know where I can find the wiring schematic so that I can go through it to locate the problematic electronic component(s)?
I have not found any local service centers that possess this information so they're no help and can't fix it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Mark
At first I couldn't load any community presets in the gateway app, so i reinstalled and now I can't login. the websites SSL encryption seems to be gone and im worried that marshall won't notice for a good while, anyone know when this'll be fixed?
Hello
when turning on my code 50 amp I wasn't able to get any public presets made by the community iv tried factory resetting the amp reinstalling the gate way app numerous times but when signing back in I get the same error message my amp has not been updated with the recent firmware but I'm unable to because I can't sign into my account on the gate way app any fixes
The error message says
"An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made"
Firmware up to date, factory reset(s) done but still goes dead within a minute or so. It will occasionally let you play but not change the preset (as that makes it cuts out).
Has done it for a while but I don't use it often - any suggestions and how long is the warranty in the UK?
Hello,
I purchased the Kilburn 2 from the official website a month ago. I usually keep it charged, so I didn't notice, but this time I used it until the battery was completely drained. After that, no matter how long I charge it, it won't turn on again. It seems like the battery is completely discharged. Is it normal for such a battery issue to occur after just one month? In this case, where should I request a repair?
Additionally, am I eligible for a warranty?
I've already contacted the official website, but I haven't received a response yet, and it's really frustrating 😢. I enjoyed using the speaker for a month, but now living without it feels so lifeless...
Thank you
Wondering if anyone has had or heard of this issue?
Code50, less than a year old.
Me and a buddy are somewhat beginners, and playing Deftones and Chevelle type songs. I have a "Deftones style" distorted heavy tone preset loaded that I'm playing on.
So after an hour or so playing, the tone will start to sound "metallic" and kind've have a "ping" to it, if that makes sense. Sort of sounds like you have a speaker inside of a giant metal cup.
Sorry if this is a newbie question, just sort of confused.
The guitar was new in October, so I assume it's not the strings. I also tried swapping to my Jackson guitar, same annoying metallic pingy sound when strumming. Changed the cables too.
Any ideas?
i bought a Code 50 amp pre-owned early 2024 from a local Guitar Center outside Chicago IL. it had been working perfectly up to and until i was editing some of the stock sounds to use with the footswitch and found that the pots on the amp, (OUTSIDE of the master volume) stopped performin to any manual manipulation. i did a reset (losing all the presets i'd set up...but i digress) that was unsuccessful. i sent it to a local music store which claimed to be able to fix it, but could not. i downloaded gateway as a workaround and while it manipulated the patches via bluetooth, after several minutes in a particular preset, the different parameters would just wildy scroll indiscriminately between the different functions and suddenly there was no sound from the amp. i COULD/CAN switch patches and the next patch sound would come up as normal, but the same order of problems ultimately occured again.
the music store suggested there's likely a problem with a software 'chip' that's causing it to do that; but i'm reaching for a solution. i like the amp a lot and it's my first 'professional' guitar amplifier, so it would be greatly appreciated if there was some answer/solution to this issue.

I am restoring a couple JCM800 Bass series 1552 cabinets. I can't find a replacment S15-250 16 ohm speaker to pair up with the others. What is a good replacement set of new speakers for my SS 3480 400 watt Integrated Bass System head?
Hello folks,
I´m looking for the building date of my DSL40C. Not sure to understand the label code right. Here are my Labelnumbers V01061659E and also 12-16 on the right side of label. I hope someone could help. thx and greetings from germany, Benno
Hi all, I recently unearthed a 100w wedge monitor. It's huge, really heavy, and really old !
I've never encountered one before, so wondering if it's the real deal ? The serial number plate states, Made in England, with a number of 'A 01870'.
Much obliged !
Gary
Sorry to bother you again. Could you send me some configuration examples for a rhythm guitar with gain and slightly distorted with chorus, and another example for when it's time for the solo where I can activate that preset and clearly notice the volume increase? It would be example for A1 (rithm guitar) and A2 (solos)??. Where does the change and difference between the internal values of the two presets lie? Based on your example, which will be very helpful, I will be able to configure my settings for my band's songs when playing live, to know which preset is suitable for solos (because the volume is higher) and which preset works for rhythm, arpeggiated, or accompaniment guitar(lower volume). I know it's difficult, but if you send me a small outline, I can experiment with your suggestions. I'll leave you my email in case it's easier for you to connect with me. I would greatly appreciate this help, as I'm finding it impossible to play live with the Code 100 H and be confident in the parts of the song that are rhythm guitar and the parts where there's a solo that should stand out from the rest of the band.
Thanks very much for your usefull help

Hey,
I recenty tried to plug in my Code 25 to an M1 Macbook Air running MacOs14.5. The Mac on connection does recognise the amp being connected when it asks for a permission to be used as a USB accessory but when I try to setup the input for Code, the laptop does not show Code either in System Preferences or Garageband preferneces. I have tried two of the USB B cables to no avail. Kindly helo me out on where the issue might lie. Do i perhaps need to download a driver for the mac to recognise code as an input output device??
Thank you
Hi, I have DSL40CR and want to use it as a preamp only, without connecting to a speaker, since I want to use its speaker with some other power amp. Can I safely use the DSL in standby-only mode?
Does AC line power issues negatively affect Code series amps?
I have some problems with the wiring in my home (USA), one meter that I used indicates grounding issues.
My home was built in the mid-70s so I suppose that it was built according to the code of that time period. One thing that I've noticed is that there are no grounding rods for the electric box. Current code requires that 2-6' rods be driven in the ground approx 6' apart connected to the power box to provide proper grounding for the electric service and safety for the home
I've said all of that to ask how extreme noise on AC power lines affects a Marshall Code 50? I can hear the noise thru my amps. I've tried using a Morley line filter plus a line filter that I built and neither helped.
There are times that my amp sounds like the signal is fluctuating, causing the volume to go high & low. I can't get the tone from that amp that I should be able to. There are other issues as well - I'm not satisfied with the performance of my Code 50 but I don't know that it's the amps fault
Thank You
