I have a Marshall Code 50 with the 4 way footswitch. I have learned how to activate the various effects in switch mode, but I haven't found a solid volume adjustment workaround. For instance, if I am playing rhythm and need to go lead, I can activate a switch and go to distortion, but the level isn't adequate to drive the sound to the right volume for a lead guitar. I have tried adjusting the "level", but it won't go over the master level on the preamp volume-wise. Is there a "volume pedal" like solution for this? I am not sure if I can run a volume pedal in sequence with the footswitch, has anyone tried this?
I bought a dsl 40crc from guitar center around 8 months ago. bought the 6 way footswitch. footswitch decided to only work on standby if it does come on while on either high watt or low watts turned on if I switch it it goes dead but if I swith amp to stand by it starts working again.? any answers to why this may be happening?
Hi there,
Since mid '90 I play a JTM30 1x12 + matching C312 1x12 cabinet. How does that compare to the new ST20H Studio + ST212 Studio? Does anybody have an objective opinion for my question? I read, hear and see a lot of good comments on the new ST20 Studio series and am wondering if it would be worth selling my stuff and buy the new amp and cab.
Kind regards,
Hello
I don't know if it has happened to anyone else.
The Marshall Code tuner is not very precise, having to resort to external tuners
Over the past few days I have been switching between the modes and I noticed, that the low output mode makes a very funny noise, like it was underwater and that the high output mode was making crackling noises. Today, all three modes barely make any sound even if I turn the volume up to the max. What could be the problem?
Hi All,
I am considering buying what the owner claims is a 1994 Marshall Limited Edition SLP full stack, the "Hendrix" edition.
Where can I go to validate the head and cabs are in fact the Hendrix LTD edition and all came together when brand new?
Thank you!
Serial numbers are:
Head: 941998113
Slant: 942786616
Bottom: 942786616
I have a mg15cdr that I 've for a few yrs bought new but not used that much, everything works as it should but when I switch it off there's a loud pop/crack sound,it's done this since I bought it,I've tried turning the knobs all to zero before I flip the switch this has no effect,if I switch it off at the socket it's lots better.
Any ideas would be great
Today my neighbor came over to jam and brought an electronic pedal arena 2000. I noticed the guitar volume was much higher than it should be as I had the volume on input 1 all the way down. We unplugged the pedal and found the amp volume would go up and then down as we played, we plugged a guitar into input 2 and found that both guitars would ramp up and then down.
the amp is 15 years old and doesn't get much play as it's a bit too much for the small room (realistically it may have 100 hours total at lower volumes), it has been parked in same spot all this time.
any help would be appreciated

I am having problems with the new firmware on my code 25 and gateway app on an iPhone. It used to work fine but now gateway is not connecting to the amp.
Hi, I have an issue where playing some notes in fifth octave like g5 weirdly resonates with some internals of the Amp amifying the note to unpleasant degree at the start of the note and even more couple of seconds later. Notes close to it behave normally.
This happens on both my guitars, both through the speaker and headphones on any cranked high gain Amp. My other two amps do not exhibit the same issue as well as boss gt-1000 connected to my code with ever section of it turned off.
Please help me troubleshoot this.
Obviously, I have updated to the latest firmware and did a factory reset after. However, neither of this helped.
My ACTON II has a problem with connection and all LED's are acting weird. Unfortunately when I'm trying to create a ticket for repair there is no SERIAL NUMBER sticker at the back. Can you help me on how to process this?
I have bought WOBURNIII - like to have an AMP which model from Marshall suits my speaker system; As i have bose speakers too. Please advice.
Ideal to have an AMP to enhance my Sound Experience, as we have limited functions on the Marshall / Bose Speakers.
I just bought the Marshall Code 25 Amplifier. Whenever I plug my guitar (Epiphone Les Paul Custom Replica), sometimes even just the cable into it, it makes a buzzing/ticking/crackle noise - sometimes both at the same time. When I play sound over Bluetooth or nothing is plugged into the "Input", it does not make the noise.
The guitar, plugged into a different amp (Cambridge Audio with Bose Sound System) with a different type of cable (RCA with a 6.3mm adapter at one end), also does not make the noise.
So either the amplifying circuit/chip in the code 25 is fried, or the cable (normal 6.3 on both ends) is.
Worth to note: the Guitar, Amp and the normal 6.3 cable are all brand new.
Do you know what can cause this and how to fix it, if the Amplifier is fried I can just return it within 2 years.
I have a Marshall DSL40CR. It came with EL34's as the title says. I decided I wanted to try 6ca7's and was told they are essentially drop in replacements for EL34's. I had the EL34's biased at 35-36mv. When I put the 6ca7s in, I was shocked because the bias was 70mv. I lowered them down to 35-36mv.
My question is: Should the 6ca7's be biased to the same number I had the EL34's at? Should I go higher or lower? The reason I'm asking is that most Marshall techs say 35mv is where you should be at with EL34's to sound their best. Is this the same for 6ca7's?
There is also a very slight burning smell in the rear of the amp. Don't know if this is just something about the new tubes or if it's cooking the amp....sounds fine though.
Могу ли я использовать наушники Bluetooth с усилителем Code 50, чтобы играть на гитаре и слушать ее? У меня есть Bluetooth-наушники, но они не работают...
Hi I have a JVm410H and I'm looking at buying a Gig Rig G3 programmable footswitch so I can store various pedal combos, and then switch with one push, both the pedal combo I want and also the Marshall channel I want at the same time.
Is this possible using a) the Marshall footswitch or b) using the MIDI In/Out on the head?
Any help most appreciated
Cheers
Can I connect the amp to my computer and record my guitar? how can i do that?
Hey there. I love my Code25. Everything was just perfect for about 3 years, including bletooth connection and USB. Updated last time to 1.48. It is still the latest. But recently, with same cable and same W11 laptop there is no connection. I read some posts and few suggest USB interface may burn out. It is true? Any ideeas on this?

ciao a tutti,
ho appena acquistato un Marshall MG15 Gold, ma appena lo accendo (anche senza cavi collegati) si sente un fruscio di sottofondo. E' un difetto di fabbrica?
