Hi there!
Is it possible to rename my Code 25?
On the Bluetooth settings it currently appears as: CODE V02027 etc......
...and I only wish to change this into something simpler.
Let me know!
Cheers,
Ales
Hola
Where can I find a scematic for this head?
Thanks,
Terry Harper
i recently purchased 2 woburn speakers. Wanting to play both in stereo thru a cd portable CD player. Is it possible and how?
Hello,
Just purchased both the DSL40CR and the 6-way footswitch and I absolutely love it. I have been looking at adding some effects and am intrigued by the Line 6 HX Effects unit, in part becasue of its ability to switch amp channels as well. So, my question is, can it replace all six buttons on the Marshall 9101 6-way footswitch?
If so, does it require a special cable or will a traditional 1/4" guitar cable do?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it possible to use headphones with the Stockwell 2? They don't work plugging into the 3.5mm AUX port, but would it work to buy a USB-C to 3.5mm jack converter?
Hi Marshalls
Is it possible to Connect my Code 100H to my computer or my audio interface without having a cabinett connected?

Hi all, i’m looking to buy a new marshall sc20c jcm800 tube amp and get payday loans 24/7 and it doesn’t have a headphone jack . Could i plug headphones into the jack called “DI OUT” or not and what does this do?
Hello, I love my Marshall AS50D. The sound is awesome, but I recently tried the Line Out to my mixer and got nothing. Brought it home and connected the line out directly to a powered speaker, and still get no sound thru the lineout-speaker. I've had it for about 3 years and I think it used to work but not sure as I haven't used that feature in a couple of years. Is there something simple I should try to get it working?
I have a Marshall lead 100 with 4/12 drivers an a serial no 17940 ..an cream checkerd front an Marshall logo in white in center ....what year pls
every company who sells digital amp made some upgrade with more amp or efx or cabinet or upgrade a better firmware with better tones. you do nothing! I've asked you - almost one year ago -, by mail, if marshall was programming an upgrade and in your mail you answered yes..I think was untrue, it's the worst support I've ever seen in digital amplification.
Hi guys just wondering if anyone has got a preset to play the above
cant seem to get the right sound on my Code 50
Cheers in advance
Hi,
owned a code 25 for a while now but only really started using it during lockdown but have to say I'm really impressed. I'm just using it for living room playing and connected to my DAW as a way of laying down ideas but seriously, it's REALLY good.
For context, I've played guitar for 27 years and working in live music has been my primary source of income (pre lockdown....) for around 17 years. I'm usually a live-sound engineer and tour manager and occasionally fill in the gaps with some guitar-teching. I'm uk-based but have international clients, mostly guitar-based, playing mostly academy sized venues but have done major festivals worldwide and one short stint of an arena tour. The point here is not to blow my whistle, simply to say I've spent a lot of time being exposed to all manner of amps and modelling.
I own a line 6 helix and while the CODE isn't as flexible with regards to I/O, I genuinely feel like it's amp-modelling, especially for crunch, fuzzy or blown out tones, blows the Helix out of the water. Not that I'm as likely to use metal tones or had much cause to tweak them but I've noticed those kind of presets can sound a little thin. Also, higher gain sounds in general could benefit from a graphic EQ somewhere in the modelling chain, as it can be prone to squeak at frequencies usually outside of a regular amps range, presumably because of the full-range nature of the cab.
So, my query is, is there any chance that the CODE range is likely to get any substantial firmware updates or maybe 2nd generation hardware that could bring additional functionality/Pro level durability and a decent footswitch... I'm impressed that you've managed to get that much functionality out of a mono-jack but a few extra switches or even just midi connectivity for use with after market footswitched to access would open the amp right up.
Personally, I'd love to see one capable of more complex I/O routing i.e. the ability to record your dry input to DAW over usb and similarly, route from the DAW to the amp input for re-amping.
Midi I/O and an xlr input with phantom and a decent sounding pre would make it a nice little hub for a solo recording setup.
Anyway, great work Marshall/Softube, really hope you develop the line further.
Quick 4 part question: A) can I use the USB to get a line level signal into my PC that my digital interface will push to my powered monitors?
B) when using USB is the cabinet speaker muted?
C) must my DAW be open to make this work?
D) in this USB mode, can the CODE 100 be operated without speakers connected?
Thanx!
Hi,
I have a Marshall 9200 poweramp (Dual mono-bloc) that I am having problems with. Channel A works fine, but when I turn on Channel B, I get no output, but rather I get this low pitched buzzing sound that becomes louder and louder. (Both channels work independently of each other, as in Channel A runs 4 6L6GC tubes and Channel B runs another 4 tubes)
Also, Channel B's tubes glow blue when it is turned on. (I never turn Channel B longer than 30 seconds after that buzzing sound starts) I was wondering whether it was a blown tube or whether it is something more sinister at work, i.e. a blown transformer.
FYI, the amp doesn't trip the fuse, but rather the tubes just immediately glow blue, like the gas in the tubes is on fire or something.
Thanks for your help guys.
Can I use an extension cabinet such as the MG412 being there is an extension cabinet output on my Code 100C combo amp?
Hi,
Have a few questions about attenuator usage with SC20H amp.
1. Do I need two attenuators? My cabinet has two speakers (8 Ohm each), and SC20H has two separate outputs for each speaker, so does it mean I have to buy two attenuators, one for each speaker? I didn't manage to find SC20H schematics, so I'm not sure if those two amp outputs are connected in parallel internally, and I can just use one attenuator.
2. Do I need attenuator(s) at all? I want to run the amp with overdriven tubes, thus I have to set max level, right? Consultant at my local store told me it's enough to reduce "Master" volume, and EL34 will still be overdriven, if I set "Pre-amp" volume to max. But folks at Marshall forum say that it's still better to use attenuator, even in 5W mode. Again, I don't have SC20H schematic, so it's hard to tell who is right.
3. What if my cabinet only have one 4 Ohm input (2 x 8 Ohm speakers inside)? Is it enough to connect it to the amp with only one cable? Or I have to rework my cabinet to have two different inputs (separate input for each speaker)?
Thanks!
Ok Marshall we bought your product thinking it would be a good product. With trusted support. You have failed your customers and your products with no support for the code amps that your customers bought. And now most are stuck with a half working amp that they can't sell or not happy with. When will you get off your butts and fix the amps with a firmware update? And support the product and the consumers? Let us know so we can either stick it out or move on to another product.
Having problems storing presets to foot switch- manual not helpful. Does anyone have step by step instructions? Many thanks
