Dear All.   When recently reviewing the release notes on Code Firmware Release V1.1 it is indicated that it includes "2-way footswitch support".   Can you please provide a list of what "2-way" footswitches are available for the Code 50 as well as what parameters each of the usable footswitches are able to control/change.   Thank you!

Hello, I am finding that when I activate the "link to channel 1" button for channel 2 (by depressing it), that the input from channel 2 seems to be cut out altogether. I.e. if I mute channel 1 whilst passing a guitar into channel 2, then there is no sound.

My initial thoughts as to what the "link to channel 1" button would do was that it would use the same level and EQ settings provided by channel 1. This does not appear to be the case however. Or perhaps I am misunderstanding the feature this provides? E.g. perhaps by depressing the button, the signal from channel 2's input is joined with the signal of channel 1? (that would explain why channel 2 appears to be muted when the "link to channel 1" button is activated/depressed.

Thank you! Gareth

Hello all,

I am finding that if I feed an MP3 player or a BeatBuddy drum pedal into the phono inputs of the AUX channel that the level dial of the AUX (channel 4) has to be cranked all the way up in order to achieve an output volume comparable to any of the other channels 1, 2 and 3.

Is this normal? If so, is there a reason why the AUX channel level is low?

Many Thanks,

Gareth

Hello all,

I'm finding that when I flick the power switch to ON that there is always a "whooshing" sound at startup. It lasts for less than a second but I am wondering why I am experiencing this.

Is it normal?

Many Thanks,

Gareth

Hi,

I bought a Marshall YJM100 this July and it's great. As far as Im concerned I'm the 3d owner of this amp so It's obviously not new. Anyway I'm concerned about the normal sensetivity input for the high treble channel. It's basicly no treble, or tone for that matter and it's kind of a bummer cause I can't get that Plexi tone I was after. I'm using my Boss ME-70 to boost the singal and then it sounds okay but I shouldn't have to do that..

So my question is.. Is my amp broken or will this be fixed by changing valves? The owner before me didn't change valves and I don't know if the owner before that did eather. (This is a problem that must have occurred from the previous owner since I bought it like this)

Thanks

I downloaded the firware update utility  program but when I run it I get an error messsage.  It says an app on my PC needs the following Windows Feature: .NET Framework 3.5 (Includes Net 2.0 and 3.0)   So Itried to down load this feature and I got an Error Code. 0X800F081F.  I looked up the code and it says you can not install on a computer running windows 10.  So the Firmware Update Utility Porgram will not install?

So I cant install Code Firmware Update if I use Windows 10?

Is the fan meant to be as noisy as it seemingly is? Not a noise like its bumping or scraping but more one of high velocity and a desire to seemingly take off.  Its making this power amp near enough useless for home use which is what I bought it for!

My Code 50 takes 1-2 minutes to respond when I turn it on. Whether I am using the app on my iphone or if I don't have my phone with me and just want to use the manual adjustments. It is completely silent and unresponsive even though it is on and then magiacally 1-2 minutes later it becomes active. Any solution? Thanks.

I have a JVM 215C. Having a problem with volume. Amp was running and playing fine. Put on standby for a few minutes, came back, switched back to "on" and then no sound. Switch master to on, and it plays. Master off, then no sound again. Probably something dumb, but I don't appear to have touched anything else that would have this effect. Still plays fine under Master switch. I've had the amp for about 11 months.  Any recommendations?

Thanks,

I received my code 50 today, when switching the amp on the display never changes from 'Marshall Code'. turning the preset knob won't change the display either, accessing the amp wie the app works. I also tried resetting the amp which won't get me past the 'Marshall reseting presets' screen. Any suggestions would a firmware update help?

On 11/3 @ 12:54 p.m. I order a pair of Neil Young dark turtle sunglasses. The purchase shows up in Scotland. My credit card has since been used for escorts and fine dinning in Scotland. I've been trying to contact someone for info on my order to find out if the purchase was legitimate. No one has gotten back to me. I never received a tracking number, but the order # is 1659.  Any response is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I have a JMP Super Lead 100W Marshall amp. It's prapably a 60's model?

Serial number is: 2168H

I tried to register my amp, but there was no model to be found.

Is it possible that older models cannot be registered?
