i have an old Marshall head and I’m looking for it’s date of fabric.... I only have the serial number since all the other identification letters have fallen off.... The serial number showing in the back is S/ 11835...

My Valvestate VS65R only puts out about 5% of its original wattage. It gave a pop noise a while back while I was playing  at 70% volume and fell silent while I was testing a new capacitor. I found a set of circuit boards and transformer, installed them with a new tube but only get the small amount of sound even with everything turned up. I tested it with different combinations, transformers, boards, tubes, speakers, guitars, cables, but no luck. Any help on what the cause could be, or how to troubleshoot would be greatly appreciated. I've had a hard time finding them. My Marshall went silent and I replaced all the tubes.

I just bought a Marshall Code 50, it is new but I think it have a problem.

When I move command buttons (Gain, Bass, Middle & Volume) nothing happend.

When I move Trebble button it change Trebble and Volume in the same time.

Also, I saw that settings change without touch buttons when I'm playing guitare.

Could you tell me what I have to do for fixing this issue please ?

I tried to reinstall the firmware but it didn't fixed the issue.

Hi,

Just bought a DSL100HR head and noticed that it is self switching from clasic gain to ultragain chanel in a random way.

It happend  3 times in aprox. 20 hours of functioning and 2 times I was not even playing the guitar, the amp was on on classic gain crunch and switched suddenly on the ultragain.

I do not use the PEDL-90012 foot switch, I use instead a midi connection from loop controller Harley Benton FXL8 Pro ( everything works as expected here , could program and switching works fine through midi). The amp works perfect in rest nothing to complain except this strange behavior.

Q:  any idea what is the problem and if/how can be fixed, is it something common ?

I got my DSL 20 CR in May 2020 so 6 months ago and recently have noticed that the light underneath the power switch is flickering.

It is now significantly dimmer and a bit annoying not really what you would expect with the quality of a marshall.

Not sure if this is covered by the warranty or if I need to fix it myself.

Having constant issues trying to connect iPad to Code25 via Bluetooth. Sometimes it works , sometimes it doesn't.No consistent behavior.  Yes I have made sure Code25 is latest version, yes I have updated IPad. Yes I have turned it off and on again (iPad and Code). I have not hit it with a hammer YET...Settings in Ipad says connected, Menu in Gateway App says not connected.  Do search in Menu > Code is found> tap Code ID and says its connecting , Just a whirling  wheel. Meanwhile IPad settings states connected. Extremely frustrated. Is there a solution to this or did I just get conned into buying something that doesn't do what it was sold to do. Help please............

I've recently purchased CODE 25, installed Marshall Gateway, and paired the code 25 with my smartphone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, MIUI 12, Android 10).

All was fine, I've listened to some pre-sets using the application and tried to disconnect the CODE 25 from the phone. I've opened the Bluetooth settings on my phone, tapped to the CODE 25 device, and pressed to the "unpair" option.

BUT the CODE 25 still tries to pair with my phone every time, when the Bluetooth is on.

I've tried to reset the CODE 25 to the Factory settings, tried to update the firmware - no result. 

Not even resetting the Bluetooth settings on my phone helped to solve the problem: the CODE 25 spams my phone with the requests of pairing every time I turn the device on.
When I pressing the Cancel button on the pairing request, the next request comes within several seconds.

It's really annoying!

How to force the CODE 25 to stop spamming my phone?

WHY IS THERE NO DELETE OR RESET BUTTON ON GATEWAY APP TO REMOVE PRESETS WE DONT LIKE OR PUT ON BY MISTAKE?

on both sets of 100 presets i have  no.00 on amp as JTMChill but on gateway El34 heaven, WHEN I FIRST OUGHT AMP THIS WEEK I REMEMBER SEEING jtmCHILL so why has it been replaced on gateway app and where has EL34 Heaven come from how do i get JTM CHILL BACK ON GATEWAY

hey do i have to update gateway app and if so how often i just bought my amp and downloaded app this week its showing as1.5 0n app but i see here on threads people talking about 1.5.5 so should app store have latest versions?

could somebody tell me why my preset no.00 on amp was called JTM chill but when i open gateway app its now EL34 Heaven which after looking at all parameters is a completley different preset i just got the amp and havent knowingly changed anything ? which is the default and how do i get them to match?

i have just bought my code25( oct2020) and see that we need to update firmware when needed , how do i know or find out which version my amp has ? i see that my gateway app shows me i have 1.5 so why doesnt that when connected to amp tell me which version of firmware the amp is runningi  surely updates should be like on iphone you get a reminder?

what is the best setting on guitars volume to get the best sound from presets?,should we leave guitar settings on max and use master volume  on amp to control volume,as there are times when neighbours have to be considered, wont rolling off guitar volume just change sound effect?

I really don't like the speaker on the Code 25 combo and my plan is to build an extension cab with a 1 x 12" (potentially a Celestion G12M Greenback rated at 25 watts and 8 ohms). I am aware of the power / volume drop this will cause and I'm happy with it. The easy way to achieve this is to disconnect the wires from the speaker and wire them to an extension jack for use with the extension cab. But I wanted to know has anyone done this in such a way to keep the original speaker active when the extension isn't in use, but defeated when the extension cab jack is plugged in? That way the Code works as a combo still for home use, but I could keep the extension cab permanently at the rehearsal space. Thanks for any thoughts.
