Hello,
I recently acquired a Marshall Code 25. I installed the last version of the app but, whenever I want to reproduce a song I have stored on my android phone, it crashes. It is consistent: it crashes all the time, to the point I was unable to playback a single song since I bought the amp.
Thanks in advance.
I've had my Code25 for less than a year now. In order to use the bluetooth features I have to establish a brand new connection every time. I have to forget the device on my phone then repair. How can I fix this issue? Yes, my firmware and app are up to date. It is very annoying. I should be able to just turn the amp on and pair to it automatically. Without having to go through so much trouble.
hi.my English is bad
After I updated my Marshall code 25to V1.41 , bluetooh can connect to my iPhone, but when I turn off my Marshall code, then open it again ,and turn on my iPhone Bluetooth , code’s blue light can’t auto light ,that mean I should forget pair and re-pair Bluetooth again, this is very very trouble to me .
So I push amp button and turn on my code to try reset factory setting , is defeated,is still V1.41,what should I do?please help me,how long can fix this bug?
Dear Concern,
I have been a huge marshall user for the past 20 years. I have never been let down by any of the products I have used so far until recently. I bought the Marshall CODE 50 and one year in time something happened to the power circuit unit. I got it checked from the store "World Music" in BD, and they confirmed that the circuit is damaged. I need to buy the circuit but unfortunately, I cannot find it anywhere here. I even checked with Guitar Center in Vegas and they were unable to help me out with the matter as well. Any lead on where to buy such a circuit will help me a lot.
I want to buy for home use something like the type of https://www.bestadvisor.com/best-headphones. Or is it better to buy a marshal from the same price category ??
Today I tried to play my Marshall code 50 and noticed that there is acutally no sound coming through.
I already changed the cable to make sure that the cable is alright.
I also noticed that there is no Headphone sound and the amp tuner is not working neither.
The speaker makes the normal light buzzing noise when turned on, so I assume that it is not about the speaker.
I did a firmware update just now, but I didn't help.
I really don't know what to do anymore. I barely played the amp and never transported it neither.
Why it is suddenly not working is a mystery to me.
If you have any advice please let me know.
Hi,
I would like to knwo if there is a way to sync the MY GATEWAY presets and the Marshall CODE presets all at once?
I came here and downloaded a bunch of presets from the comunity and now there are like 30 presets in my phone, but these presets are not in the amp memory.
I could go one by one, saving the preset on the amp memory but I want to know if there is a way to do it all at once.
One click and all the app presets are equal to the amp presets
thnaks in advance guys
Hey,
the majorIIbt does not pair th the code25, what is wrong? Both blink blue, then the headphone stops blinking while the amp continues. Any knobs to push?
Thx from germany, Andreas
If I want to plug my 100h into my PC via USB, does it still need a speaker load or can I use it without a cab connected?
Hey there!
I just added a JCM 2000 DSL50 to the family and I'm now re-biasing it, as the previous owner set it to something strange like 30mV.
I know, most sources in the www advice to bias it around 45mV, but I found it to sound best with one Tube at 39mV and the other one at 38mV.
When I set it higher the single notes in a chord (talking about the drive channel) tend to become "loose" and seem undefined.
Is there anything that speaks against setting it to 39mV, could it be too low?
I don't want to "miss" anything soundwise and just the fact that so many people advice to turn it up to 45mV makes me uncertain about my own ears.
Thanks!
Kevin
Hello,
Am I only one who has to do "forget this device" from my phone each time I have to connect my amp to my mobile phone using bluetooth?
Or am I doing something wrong?
Best regards,
I bought a CODE50 2 months ago, and while I really like the sound, it generates cracking/tearing/popping sounds when I apply (even small amounts of) overdrive when I touch a string with my pick/plectrum. I use the JCM800 emulation with low gain and low presence. I have also tried other AMPs such as the JVM. Plexi or Bluesbreaker, but that does not make any difference. It occurs with a BOSS Overdrive OS2 pedal and also with the ODR that is build in, also at low levels.
It happens both with my Fender Stratocaster and my Epiphone Les Paul. I also tried several diffenent plextrums, for example the Dunlop Jazz III, Dunlop Tortex, Fender medium, light and heavy and a few others, but that does not make any difference.
I opened the back of the combo so see if anything touches the speaker that could explain this sound but that was not the case. Normally I like a bit of pick attack sound, but this noise can be so loud that it overshadows the sound of the string, almost like a series of explosions. When I switch the overdrive off, this noise effect is gone.
What could be the reason for this ?
I was just curious in Marshall ever had any contests where you might be able to win some gear? I know your product is so revered and desired that you probably don't need contest to promote your outstanding product. It's just most regular players can't and never be able to purchace a Marshall amplifier.
I bought the footswitch and the Marshall Code 50 a few months ago. Both working fine until doing a gig last evening, I hooked up my footswitch to the code 50 with the lead that came with it. No lights showed up, but the amp working fine I tried changing with a different lead, and the footswitch still no lights. The footswitch won’t work. Anyone out there has a similar issue please. Any suggestion please? Thanks in advance
Hi,
Why don't you have a Windows App? For me (and I believe for many other users) is really annoying to control my Marshall Code using cellphone or mini tablets.
I really think it would be very welcome an App for Windows, so we could use our notebooks or lap tops to control presets and tone of our Marshall amps, under a better interface, bigger screen and together with other music software.
Otherwise, I am very satisfied with my amp.

Ed Silva
I can use a Boss ES-5 to switch between Clean/Crunch/OD1/OD2 using program changes but sending MIDI CC#13 for the loop state works sometimes and CC#14 for the master volume select never works. Is anybody able to use Boss ES-5 or ES-8 MIDI to control the master volume select and loop state?
