I'm in sort of a pickle as I can't seem any info about this.

I have a Stanmore II that is absolutely perfect. I however long for that stereo effect :)

Hence I'm planning on getting a 2nd one, but I primarily use my PC and laptop for listening to music. I was wondering would it be possible to pair the two via the app on my phone and then connect them to the PC/laptop.

My logic here is that if I tingle the bass or treble via the phone app, it seems to "stick" with the speaker and then if I connect it to the other device, the settings stay the same.

So it's only logical that if I pair the two via the phone app, when I search via my laptop I'll find 1 coupled device to connect.

Anyone done this setup?

I have the original Marshall Stanmore. It's wired direcly to both a turn table and a CD Player. The sound recently began cutting out intermittenly. I hear a bit of static, the audio cuts out, and then a few seconds later, the sound comes back. I've been using the same setup for about a year with no issues. 

Any ideas?

My CODE 25 was working like a charm. After the firmware update there is a horrible whistling high frequency noise coming out from it. It is really bad. 

Anybody can help me out with this? How to roll back the firmare?

(It's not the guitar/cable/ground because I have another amp and I did a test)

Hi,

I have a CODE50 (1 week).

After editting a preset, I click and hold the exit/store button to save the changes I made. The changes are stored but the CODE then "freeze".. no sound, no change possible. After switch off/on, everything is back to normal. The preset is updated.

Same thing is happening when I store the preset in the footcontroller.

Is that "normal"? Am I doing something wrong? I presume that I'm not supposed to do a switch on/off everytime that I want to store a present change...

Buenas, tengo la cabina Marshall code 100 y una interface scarlett 2i2. Me preguntaba si es posible conectar el marshall a la interface a través del fx loop o si por el contrario solo es recomendable hacerlo de otro modo. Mi intención es grabar el sonido del Code a través de la interface. He visto algún video donde conectan el multiefectos por ejemplo un Kemper a la interface a través del send del fx loop a la entrada de la interface pero desconozco si la Code también se puede conectar así al ser digital. Gracias de antemano. 

Hello. I recently bout the CODE 50 and it's great, but the gateway is pretty much useless for me. I have tried pretty much everything and it still will not connect to my iPhone 11 pro max. I have had friends try the app and it works fine on their phone, but when it comes to mine, nothing! Really love the amp and would like the bluetooth to work from my phone so i can adjust with ease. Not the end of the world, but it is advertised that you can control everything from your phone so that's what i would like to do. Any solutions? Thanks.

If I need to replace the stock preamp tubes in the Origin 20 H, what is the exact model.

It show ECC83H and I think they are Shuguangs but not sure. They used to be Marshall branded Shuguangs or JJ but these have nothing written on it except ECC83H. Looks chinese but they sound best I think to nail that JCM-Plexi tone of the Origin. I tried other and it is a slightly different sound. I need to know the exact model.

After a windows update to windows 11 I got this error:  Font 'Cooper Black' cannot be found. That makes the app crash during the start. Trusting the fix will take a while I installed the font myself I got from the website Cooper Black Font: ? Then the CodeEditor worked normally.

I'd like to ask Marshall's devs to solve this one. Also, I'd like to help other people with the same problem.

Hallo.I just bought a brand new Marshall Origin 50 h and the power scalling is not working.5-10 or 50 watts sounds the same.No sound or volume difference.

How can i solve the problem.I think the amp is locked on 5 watts or 10 cause my other 15 watt amps are sounding louder

I recently bought a used Code 50. It needs to be reset I believe. I can't get the tuner turn on. I can't adjust any settings.  It plays, but sounds a little muddy at times. Would really like to be able to adjust the different mods and amps and what not. Thank you. 

Hello, All:  I have a CODE 50, about 18 months old.  I usually play a "clean" preset, like JTM45, and when I take a break from playing and come back, the preset sounds like it has had distortion induced and/or gain set higher.  This can happen in just a few minutes, or when I leave the amp turned on overnight.  To rememdy, I turn the preset selector know one click right or left, and it clears it up.  I've heard of one other person who has this problem, too.  Anyone else out there experience this?  If so, do you now of any "permanent" remedies?  TIA!

I recently purchased a DSL20CR; when I received it, I heard a strange buzzing sound in the studio, which the other Marshalls did not have, 

I contacted the local Marshall dealer. He told me that it is a common issue, and other similar models had the same behaviour. Still, customers report that regular activity will work itself out until it disappears, in other words, with regular use.

And although it sounded strange to me, on the supplier's website, a customer reported this, I contacted him, and he told me that one day the noise stopped.

Well, today has been several months, and the humming continues,

It starts at 46 dB, but with increasing volume and gain, it reaches 90 dB without any instrument connected, only the power socket.

I have tested it in several places and with regulated electrical outlets, even with filters and signal stabilisation with an inverter. The power supply is optimal, but it has the same behaviour.

I asked the supplier's technician to check it, and then the report says that there is nothing abnormal, that according to him, all the components are correct, and there is nothing that generates problems for its use.

So the supplier tells me that they offer no warranty and no replacement and that this is normal for this amplifier.

I decided to replace all the tube tubes with new ones with the exact specifications.

I bought the Tung-Sol kit and another JJ for this amp, both for power gain and preamp. 

After the change and tried both options, it continued with the same sound, noise; in a previous mail to Marshall, I asked to confirm if this amp needed to do any BIAS process; well, the answer is no; it is not necessary. Still, I compared the tubes before and after, and they had a similar value. at 10W, they gave 24 mA, and at 20 W, about 57mA

I know there are similar problems, and I have read in forums about component changes to solve the problem. Still, those forums also refer to issues with the emulator output, but this is working correctly in my case.

What can you recommend, is there anything I can do to fix it?

Update to below- The iPhone 11 IOS 15.02 update fixed my issues. The app is working properly now & I'm very happy.
____________________________________________________I had a fault code & couldn't connect Gateway to my Code 50 a few months ago when I purchased it. I tried deleting the app to reload but when I reloaded, it was only accessible via the App Store & wouldn't appear on my Home Screen. I could connect for awhile. Recently it seems since the IOS 15 update to my phone, it no longer connects manually or automatically to my Code 50. The app is useless to me. I've search for an alternate app from another source that is compatible with the Code 50 but there doesn't appear to be one. The Gateway app and Bluetooth connectivity heavily influenced my purchase decision. If I had known the app was useless and I would have to physically go to the amp and try to dial in each sound, I would have just bought a fender. I really feel you should take my amp back if you can't correct the problem. 

Hi I have an Origin 50 head and I want to know what tubes for v1,v2,v3 should I purchase for replacement. Also there is any specific order to place them in.

Bought a marshall acton II today and I'm unable to play music from my phone on it. It does not show on airplay either while connected on app. I suspect it's broken on ios15. Hope it gets fixed soon or Im requesting a refund as right now it's just standing as decoration.

Is the effects loop engaged by deafult. i.e no F/S connected

Can Effects Loop be switched  on/off by a Line 6 HX Effects (as well as using HX for channel switching).

Does Effects Loop   "tone suck" much?

Hi everyone.

Since iOS does not support AptX I was curious what codec is used when I connect my iphone (12 pro) to my Stanmore. 

Turns out it uses SBC. By any mean it is not the end of the world, tho now I'm wondering if I have a malfuctioning BT module.

I just got a PEDL 91009 foot controller for my Code25. Impressed with how well it works and how useful it is (considering it connects with a normal guitar cable).

However the documentation for the 91009 is pretty poor and consists of a single sided page in the manual. I have found a few things that I can't find documented and I wonder if anyone else has found anything too.

Firstly, In the manual is says that in switch mode you can assign which blocks can be switched on and of with the three foot switches. This is great but what isn't clear in the manual is that this is universal and not per patch. i.e. if you assign button 3 to switch on the tuner then on every patch button 3 will swich on the tuner. It's the same with the tap tempo. So this means if you want the tuner available and tap tempo, then you can only switch on and off 1 effects module. Not the end of the world, but not clear in the manual. It's a shame there wasn't 2 buttons specifically for these functions.

Secondly. I had to look through this forum to find out how to reset the settings stored in the 91009, maybe it is documented somewhere in the manual. but I couldnt find it.

Thirdly. I discovered that if you are in switch mode (to switch on and off effects blocks in a patch). If you press and hold button 1 to 3 the 91009 changes to the patch stored in that bank position, but remains in switch mode. This means you don't have to come out of switch mode, change to the new patch in that bank and then go back into switch mode. May be useful for some people, but I couldnt find this in any manuals either.

Overall an impressive foot controller (for what it is). Has anyone else found out anying more it can do?
