Hi Everyone...any help gratefully received !

I have a JTM60 (3x10") combo and I have two specific problems !

1. My amp cuts out as it gets warm and starts to crackle (which I believe is the well known overheating problem)

2. When I turn my spring reverb tank up to full, I get a whistling feedback

Anybody have any advice on these specific issues ?

Many Thanks !

I recently acquired an Origin 50c. I love this amp and am very happy with it. I have been looking for info regarding tube replacement. I have found several places that indicate the Origin 20 is self biasing, but have seen conflicting info on the 50c.  Does the 50c need rebiasing when replacing tubes?

Thank you

All the presets are gone. I think marshall updated their website to a downgrade. Right now I dont have any clue how to download presets to your CODE. Buttons like 'download to amp' isn't working. Code is connected.

I ask to the Marshall team the following questions :

Why is the sound of music through Bluetooth so bad ?

Whay can't we use command of the code 50 to correct :  Bass, Middle, Treeble ?

It is really a pity that the difference of quality is huge between the soung of guitare and music !!

Rocky yours....

I recently purchased a Focusrite Solo to allow recording on my computer from the DSL40CR.

The output from the emulated output is just awful.  Sounds muddy, like a blanket is over the speaker, etc.

Doing some googling leads me to believe this is normal for the emulated output.  I just don't understand how Marshall can makes products with features that flat out don't work.

Has anyone else had any luck with the emulated output?

Hello,

I have a DSL15 that is humming a 120 Hz tone, even with all controls down. This tells me the trouble is in the power section. I checked the bias voltage of both 6V6 tubes, and they are there. However, when I checked the voltage across the plate current sensing resistors, one is around 24 mV, and the other is virtually zero. I swapped the tubes, and the voltage values on the resistors went the other way round. It looks I have a bad 6V6 tube, but I'dlike to confirm before I go buying a new one. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I recently bought a barely used mg102cfx. I had been using the line out with headphones, it was kinda quiet, which was weird, but I let it go. I decided to try and get loud since I had a day home alone and.... nothing. Is this a common issue? I tried different cords, ran a single input with no fx chain, etc. and I couldn't get any sound out of it at all. Any advice? Can it be fixed?

Hi everyone, so I recently purchased a Marshall Code 25 off of a friend and the amp is perfect for what I need; however, every now and then it starts buzzing out of control. I'll turn it on in the morning to start recording and the buzz is so loud, it almost overpowers my guitar sound! I have tried 3 different guitars, acoustic and electric, bought a high-end Ernie Ball cable and even moved house and the buzz is still there! I was able to fix it in the past by updating ad overwriting the firmware and then leaving it unplugged for a few hours to a day and that solution worked for a long time, but now it's buzzing again and nothing I've tried has made any difference. Another thing, its plugged into the same power strip as my PC and monitor, but the power strip I've switched to is a $50 uninterruptible machine of a power strip that looks like a space ship, to no avail. Also, when I turn my amp on, it makes my PC monitor kind of short-circuit and the picture freezes and fragments for a split second and then goes back to normal. I have tried every possible amp setting, and only setting the noise gate to 80% gets rid of it, which is unusable. I have also tried other power outlets and it only works when it's in a separate part of the house. I should also mention that the sound does go away when I turn the preamp button off on the amp, which again, makes the amp unusable. The house I moved to is also relatively newly made and has had various electricians here to sort out any previous power issues in the past few weeks. I'm at my wit's end and I seriously need some help!

Hi

I've got an apple music subscription, and my alexa app has been linked to it.   Apple music works fine with echo devices, but just not on this speaker.

The new Stockwell 2 seems to come with an auto-standby mode, meaning it shuts off after between 5 min and 20 min (seems to be different from a phone versus a laptop?) even if the connection via bluetooth or jack-in is stable. Although the sound is nice for the size, the speaker is barely useful in settings where sound is not played all the time.

Team Marshall, can you please provide an option to define a custom time (let's say 2h) or completely disable the  auto-standby mode either by a Firmware update ob by integrating the Stockwell 2 into the Marshall app? Thanks.

Best
Rey

I have an old AS80r, although the Transducer input works well, however when I plug into the Magnetic Auxiliary channel, there is a constant loud buzzing noise. Is this fixable?

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a Marshall CODE25 and I want to connect headphones, but I don't know exactly what impedance the headphones should have because in the amp's tutorial it does not specify what output the headphone connection has.

Thanks greetings.

I have a Two Notes CAB M and was wondering whether I could use the fx loop send into the CAB M for speaker simulation and then into headphones but effectively mute the speaker by not plugging anything into fx return? I'm thinking the speaker would still be connected and the amp would see the load but have I missed something and will this damage the amp?

Dear Sir,

I would like to purchase a 2525H.......

Since I usually practice at home with earphone, I have 3 questions to ask before I purchase it.

Quesiton 1: Could I connect the 2525H to my boss digital record BR800 through the D.I (at the baskside of 2525H)?

Question 2: Do I need to add a DI Box ? E.g my guitar --> 2525H (through D.I output) --> DI box --> my digital recorder. Adding DI box will make the sound better by changing the signal from unbalance to balance?

Question 3: Could I connect my ear phone directly to the 2525H D.I output?

Regards,

PauL MK Cheung

Hello everyone i hope your all doing well

I recently we are talking the last 4 days purchesed my dream amp a marshall DSL100HR. I was very excited to finally be able to get my hands on a marshall super lead series amp. The dream has become a bit of a nightmare as currently i am the proud owner of a fancy paper weight. I handled the amp head with extreme care when i got it. I let it acclimate to my house temp befor even taking it out of the shipping packiging then when i did i was baby gental in doing so i set it up correctly and double checked so befor even powering up the amp. When i did power on the amp i let the tubes warm up like i read to do so i did this for 15m when i switched the amp to power low mode on i think that its 50watt in that mode. I heard a loud pop pop pop buzz and everything died the amp became unresponsive and the only thing that seemed to be working was that the tubes were lighting up properly and i could run the amp in standby thats it. the front panel was dead the foot switch was dead but the amp could still power on does anybody know what the hell happand ?

what did i do wrong did i just get a lemon ?

is this common with this amp range ?

I am not rich it took a lot of financial planning to be able to afford this amp i am so bummed out. I did speak to the place i bought it from and there sending me a return label and when they get it they will ship a new DSL to me but this whole situation sucks. Thanks for any insite and help i wish everyone well !

(update) I got the return label sent the amp head back there processing a new DSL100HR order for me i wont get it till tuesday/wensday hope the one they send me works ! If the new DSL100HR also has issues i will most likely swear off tube amps forever not at all pleased with my initial experience at all.

(update 2) I have the new DSL100HR and this one works so i guess i got a lemon befor all is well now enjoy your lives people stay metal ! stay rock and roll ! most important stay safe out there !

I am trying to record my guitar on studio one connected thru' code 25. since code 25 does not have its own driver,  i have installed ASIO4all driver, which is allowing studio one to detect the code as an input device, when I am connecting the code 25 thru' the USB port to my laptop.

unfortunately , when i am trying to record my guitar, no input is detected in the DAW and the file recorded is a blank one.

Am I missing something here or is there a studio one specific setting to allow recording thru' code 25?

Thanks for an early reply

best
