I need your help! I connected my Marshall Major III’s to my iPhone 6 this morning as I had just gotten them for Christmas. Then I opened up an iPhone 11 Pro and now the headphones won’t connect to any phone. They don’t show up in the Bluetooth finder thing and I can’t find a solution anywhere. I’ve been on Marshall’s website but the question at the bottom ‘Was this article helpful’ is filled with many thumbs down. I think other people have this problem, so please... anyone!

Hi, just tried out my new SV20H head for the first time, running it through my fender 4 x 12 cab (8 ohms). Sounds awesome but I noticed a slight hum when the effects loop is activated. I was running a solid gold FX surf rider through the loop but it did the same with a Boss Space Echo as well. I also took the pedals out of the equation and just connected both send and return with a single jack cable and it still happened. It isn't a loud hum at all but I'm just checking if this is normal? My Origin 50 head that I have been using for the past year didn't make any hum at all with the same pedals!

Hi! As the tile says, does Marshall have any plans to make the CODE EDITOR for Mac as well?

Hi folks!

My brand new DSL20HR has a great sound with my MX212AR cabinet, but when I want to plug it on my mixtable with the emulated output the sound is very bad.

I've tried it on the STB position with my speaker plugged. The sound is bad even with the headphone : a lot of hum and the volume should be at the max.

There was a lot of highlights on these feature :

"Marshall has teamed up with software mavens Softube to create exceptional tones "

I don't understand it can work so bad. I really can't use it and I many other users that seem to have the same problem.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards.

Hi, can anyone explains to me WHY we can't use a CODE 100H without the cabinet? For VALVE amps there is a good reason for which you need the cabinet always connected but for solid state amps it seems very strange.

Is it maybe an error in the manual? Maybe it's a phrase that has been written for all the Marshall valve heads and it was mistakenly added to the CODE as well?

Please let me know, I have an application where I only need the 100H coming up soon.

Thanks!

Hi I have a CODE 100H head/cab and a CODE 100 combo both with the latest firmware re-installed from Marshall and both have this issue, i.e. the amp very oftenn completely freezes when I save a preset.

Steps to reproduce:

- Modify any patch on the front panel

- Save

- 50% of the times the amp seems to freeze. The preset is saved but you can no longer change preset and there is no sound coming out.

The same happens if you modify a patch from the iOS app via bluetooth and then save it from there.

It's REALLY frustrating and I can't believe I didn't find anything on this forum under the "crash on save" keywords. Seeing it happens on both of my CODE units it much be a software bug, I don't think it has anything to do with my units.

Anyone else has seen this problem?

Thanks!

Please can anyone advise me whether the Loop Level button on a DSL50 head should be pushed in or out when using FX pedals through the loop? I can’t tell any difference in either position.

I have an ipad 6th Generation, and I am having trouble getting the gateway app to run.

I download the app, and when I open it I get the following:

Context 3d not available! possible reasons: wrong renderMode or Missing device support.

i have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but I just get the same message. Tried on my wifes ipad, exactly the same.

The app runs on my iphone 6s with no problems.

please help!

My 1974x amp is quiet when nothing is plugged into it, but as soon as I plug my intrument cable into the non-tremolo channel, I get this awful cyclic noise.  Does anyone know what to do?   I replaced the ECC83 tubes one by one (testing it between each tube replacement), but it didn't fix the problem.

Here's a video of my problem.

I have a JVM215C and the other day I was experiencing some issues. I thought it might be power tube related so I re-seated the power tubes but that did not help and the amp was still making a high-pitched squeal. The squeal would come and go but other last 3 days, it was pretty consistanct. I also noticed that the amp at times would go from a muddy-low powered sound to a more clean, high powered sound. I then removed the head from the combo so I could test the bias of the tubes. For one side, I get 33 but for the other, it will not register. The amp has not made the squealing sound today so I wondering if maybe the tube for that one socket is dead (although it appears to have power to it -- and its not white). Can someone let me know if a faulty power tube could make one side of the bias terminals not register?

thanks!

Help! My DSL 100 head worked fine, set it to STB, switched it back on low output was dead and very little output on high. All valves are lit up.  I run it through a Marshall 2x12 jsm900lead-1936 cab 8ohms. Has anybody had a similar problem?

Just received my new JCM 800 2203 head with a new vintage 1960 av cabinet. Hooked it up and turned the power on standby. Very noticeable humming sound coming from inside the head. Is this normal? I have a early 90's JCM 900 that never has made any sounds on standby or powered up fully. Can I get some advice before I decide to send it back and go with something else?

thanks much!
