Need a replacement mid range pot for my mg15r
What value is this?
I have a two part question 🤔. I have my two amplifiers listed above. I have both electric and electric acoustic guitars. I'm learning how to play and bought the 50 watt acoustic Amp as I really like the sound of over wound humbuckers through it for heavy slow blues.
First question, keeping the AS50D as the main sound, can I connect it through/to the 100 watt Marshall? Both are 4 ohms and I would like the maximum amount of power to drive my 4 x 12" cabinet of 8 ohm Jensen Tornadoes that are wired in series for the 4 ohm 100 watt MG HDFX. Then I would have 150 watts total to drive my 400 watt total limit.
Question two, can I connect my 50 watt AS50D Amp to my 4 x 12" speaker cabinet by running a cable from the back of my Amp to the cabinet. I have footswitch, line out and (effects loops) send and return Jack's to use.
Even though my 4 x 12" cabinet would be very under powered. I would like to hear the sound of the AS50D through those speakers. I'm new to guitar and don't want to ruin any of my equipment. I did also have a guitar made through two luthiers, I also made the 4 x 12" cabinet to match my guitar. I call them Snort and the box.
I have the components for the sound I'm looking for, now I need to combine them all together. I truly appreciate guidance from the technical support team at Marshall.
God bless you for your time and kindness. Thank you, Eric Dailey
Hi,
are Bluesbreaker II pedals still built? Tried to find a new one, but saw only used ones on ebay.

Hi, I have a Marshall Origin 50C, and it started to degrade in sound. I checked the circuit and descovered that the, C31, eletrolitic capacitor is leaking, and the acid have deleted the info of the capacitor values.
Can anyone please help me with this information?
Thank you.
Got the code 50, won't connect with the app. It connects to play music (not really recommended). I figured since the app hasn't been updated for over two years, I just assume the app support is closed. Too bad.
can anyone out there help
I've had the Marshall Code 100 for about 4 years, never done a firmware update and am having trouble connecting the head to my pc. I'm trying through Chrome and Edge, I've downloaded the Marshall utility, started with FX/MOD/REV....nothing...no connection.
Is the ONLY way to get a firmware update through the USB/tiny old outdated plug? I'm guessing with all the technology involved with this amp, there should be another way no?
When I change the preset, the volume increases very much each time, only when I move the knob, the volume on the amplifier returns to the previously set level. The problem also occurs during changes to the foodswitch....
How do I use the Marshall Code 50 Amp in ProTools with the USB Port?
I have a new baby, so I was wondering if there is a way to stream music from my phone to play along with through my wireless bluetooth headphones but also so that the guitar noise comes through the headphones. I image? it I had wired headphones that would work but I don’t want to buy new headphones with a super long cord just for this reason lol
Hi folks,
Reently got myself a CODE25, however I couldn't manage to get it connected to my phone. I assume its due to faulty bluetooth module, because when I turned on the amp, bluetooth version field is missing on the screen. The amp also did not show up on my phone although bluetooth pairing mode was activated.
I did follow the troubleshooter but it didn't help.
Updated to the latest firmware (1.46)
Anyone experiencing the same? Any suggestion how to fix this?
Hello,
I want to ask if I could get Marshall code 50's firmware source code, mainly because I want to run doom on it but also because the volume is trash. If not if it could be released as open source, and if not even that (I will totally get it) did somebody here tried to reverse enginner it?
Many Thanks
I have several custom presets in my Gateway (via my PC at my.marshall.com). I synchronized my PC with the Gateway App on my Android phone and all the new presets show up (so far, so good). The problem is that when I turn on the Code 100 amp, all of my presets (in the Gateway Library on my phone) get reset to the default presets.
If I turn off the amp and re-sync, all of my custom presets show up again. When I turn on the amp, they all get reset to default values.
I updated the firmware on my CODE 100 and tried several different startup configurations, but nothing works.
Why is the amp overwriting the presets on my Gateway App?
Hi everyone. I have seen 2 rig rundown videos where the artists tech's (Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana) say they dial back their volume knobs on their guitars (prs & stray) to get a clean tone and crank it to get distortion and sustain. I have a code which I have only been playing in my apartment so not to loud. I haven't been able to replicate this kind of technique. I have my code set to plexi through 100 watt Marshall. I'm playing a epiphone sg. Not an expensive one. So my question is what exactly is the hang up? Is it because it's not a tube amp? Is it because the pots or pickups in my sg are not super high level? Is it because I have to keep the volume down in my apartment? Is it all of these things? I'm asking because I'm considering changing the pots and or pickups but I wanted to run this by you guys and get your opinions.
Thanks
RH
I turned on bluetooth on my phone then initiated the bluetooth feature on my code100. find the amp in the It found the amp on my phone so I connected to it and the blue light on the amp quit flashing indicating that they are synced together. When I open the gateway app on my android phone (samsung S20E) it will not find the amp in the menu section of the app. I see the blue tooth symbol there with the word CODE next to it and it says not connected. There is nothing next to the Amps Detected: and when I scan for an amp it turns gray for a few seconds and then back to green. Same thing when i switch between the phone and amp icon in the bottom left corner. when on the phone icon i have presets when I switch to the amp Icon I get nothing displayed. I do have audio .from phone to amp and that s what it says in the blue tooth section in my phone. It says that the code V020150FDU connected for audio
Recently I heard a loud pop when going from standby to the 40 watt channel. Amp still seems to work ok but since then there is a kind of minor but noticeable high pitch sound when on that 40 watt channel. Cant hear it when on 20 watt. You can hear it with nothing plugged into the amp and also when my guitar is plugged in. The only noise noticeable before was just the normal kind of hiss sound that seems to be normal. Also it doesnt get worse or better by turning the volume up or down. Its just kind of there from the moment you click it on to the 40 watt. Can hear it on clean channels also. I'm 90 percent sure it seemed to have started right after that loud kind of pop when going from standy to the 40 watt. Any thoughts or ideas on how to solve this? Thanks for any input!!
The question is simple. Elements that are adjacent to the head microphones can be made of iron? My second headphones fall apart on them. I have to wrap them with duct tape
I just dumped a half can of Red Bull onto the panel of my code50. Now no sound come out. It powers in fine, all the dials and buttons seem to work, just no sound comes out. It connects to my phone via Bluetooth but no sound comes out when I try to play music from that either. Any advice would be welcome. I'm not sure how to go about troubleshooting it.
Is it possible to download a preset from Marshall and put it on another amp like Blackstar?
I recently updated my 5th gen Ipad to an Ipad Air 4 and can no longer use the Code app. I receive the following error when opening the app and can do nothing except close it - "Context3d not available! Possible reasons: Wrong renderMode or missing device support"
With no app support available, this amp is dead weight in the studio.
i have removed the app, restarted ipad, reinstalled it, and end up at the same error every time. Is the Ipad Air 4 supported at all? IOS version is 15.4.1
This is my first Marshall set up, I have an Origin 20 Head connected to a origin 2x12 cab, when I power it up it makes a loud buzzing sound for 5 seconds or so, I assume it's warming up., I have had tube amps like the Peavey Valve King, however it didnt make such a sound on power up. Is this normal?
