Hi,

Today i'm going to buy used Marshall Major 3 Bluetooth Headphones and since i'm buying used ones  and not from official store or official retailers, I want to know is there a way to check serial number of the product to be sure if it's fake or origianl headphones?.

also if you can provide guidelines how to differentiate Genuine Marshall Major 3 Bluetooth from Fake ones that would be great.

Thank you beforehand

My brand new Code 50 is crashing after saving presets on amp. The firmware is the latest version 1.44. I applied the factory reset and the presets reset but neither were been helpful to fix this issue. After crashing, there is no output sound.

My new Code 50 Amp won't connect to my iPad. They are paired via Bluetooth, and Gateway detects the amp. When it tries to connect, it perpetually displays 'Connecting........'

What am I missing?

Would someone from Marshall Amplifiers truthfully indicte if they have officially abandoned support for the "Code" series of their amplifiers? With no firmware updates since July of 2019, it would appear that Marshall Amplifiers has abandoned their "Code" series of amplifiers and their customers who have purchased them. Please indicate if Marshall Amplifiers no longer supports these products so that myself and the others who purchased their "Code" amplifiers won't waste any further time or effort continuing to check for updates in that sorry-assed section of your website.

Thank you.

I've had my Code 25 since xmas without issue until a couple of weeks ago when a strange sort of crowd clapping sound started whenever I would use reverb and the delay sounds like an old 8-bit arcade game. This is across all presets and settings. Updated the firmware but no change.  Any suggestions?

So like the title says, after playing for a while the amp suddenly stops working. It's immediate, like it got shut off, but it's not off (nor does it look off--the display remains lit). It sounds like it overheats or something, right? But I don't think that's it, because if I turn it off for a couple of seconds and turn it back on it plays again...for a little while.

It also seems to happen on certain presets more than others, like 05-Lead Stack. So maybe it is overheating, but more so it seems like a programming bug to me. I'm hoping running some updates will fix it. Please advise!

Hi, after turn on my CODE 25 at very high volume with a mic turned on I almost got deaf. I turned off the Amp in 1 second... BUT, after that all the low tones/frequencies are distorted/buzzing/ugly dont know how to explain (E string with or without Cab, Amp, Mod, Rev, Del), they are buzzing coming from any Guitar or even music coming from the Bluetooth ... High tones sound fine. I tried to reset the amp and did a firmware update but I still have the issue. Also i tried several guitars, usb cables, guitar cables and even my PC but I still have this distorted low tones. Could anyone give me any advice besides going to the maintenance?

Thanks!

Hello guys,

I've just received y Emberton speaker. I'm testing it but it is not fast forwarding or rewinding any of the media I'm using (youtube/spotify/phone recorded videos). Did anyone experience the same?

Thanks,

Hey guys, I want to buy a really good Bluetooth speaker, and I was looking at the Marshall's Stockwell and Killburn models (the first models, the new ones are too expensive lol). Are they worth it? I've read that sound quality is amazing but at the same time, they're 2× the price of all the other portable speakers. Thanks in advance 👍 PS: I also really like the design, but that's not enough to pay double the price.

Hi everyone, I started off with Major II and absolutely loved them, they lasted me maybe a year and a half before the right ear stopped playing. My insurance was still good so I got a new pair for free, this pair lasted half a year maybe ?. So then last month with the same insurance I decided to pay the difference and get a Major III, and while I love the sound, these also stopped playing from the right ear just a month after purchase.

So now my question is, am I being reckless or should I buy another brand, if so, what? Price should be around the same as the Major III. Thanks.

I noticed there is an emulated out on the back of the 20Watt Dsl head. From reading the .pdf manual, I understand that the head needs to stay connected to the speaker cabinet. So I know to never un-hook it, however - My questions being -

Do I need to be in Stand-By mode to actually use the headphones? If not, will the sound still come from the speaker cab?

Also, can I just plug my headphones directly into the Emulated Out? the .pdf manual says the Dsl20 Emulated Out supports Headphones. But I've seen people comment in other places that you need a headphone amp that increases volume or something. I haven't been able to test with headphones yet, and I kinda' wanna' get the right answer on this before I try. Thanks.

Loving the Amp and Speaker cab though haha. Just came in yestreday.

I have 3 combo amps each with a single 16 ohm speaker. baffles the heck out of me why Marshall would recommend a 2x12 8 ohm ext cabinet. I want to run both the internal speaker and the ext cabinet at the same time. I would like to put 8 ohm speakers in the combos to match the ext cabs. I have a JCM 2000 DSL 401, a DSL 40cr And an Origin 1x10 20 Watt. Can a16ohm speaker be upgraded with an 8 ohm speaker in these combos and if so what speakers would you recommend. Any additional suggestions or information is most welcome.

On the back of the head it has 3 jacks for to plug into the cabinet and i dont know which is the best. It has lines pointing to the OHM's but the lines dont line up with the different ohms and its hard to tell which one to use. Anyway of sending me a picture or explaining which jack i should use please.
