I have a Nov 2017 dsl 40 cr with pedl-90012 Footswitch. The effect loop is intermittently not foot switchable on the clean channel. I use a clean boost for solos through the loop. Works on dirty channel, not on clean channel. Footswitch effects loop led lights up,, but not on amp.  Both green channel leds.  I have the individual master volumes leds set for clean channel green, dirty channel red. And I have to push the loop button in and out most of the time to activate it.

I hope this is a really easy fix - I am pretty sure I have missed something really basic so thanks for any support.

I have used Gateway to download new presets and reorderd them as on the tuition video. However, this new order is not showing on my Code head and is not available unless I am connected via a cable.

How can I fix this as I do not want to be constantly reliat on fiddling with my phone?

I got a CODE100H and the manual says that you never must run the amp without an cab connected. But there are so many videos and tutorials where the amp is plugged only via USB or headphones.  Does it make a difference if is there's a DAW, a cab or headphones connected?

And another problem is the delay while connected through USB. How can this be solved?

While using the Marshall Gateway App on my iPhone 7 or SE (I'm assuming this happens on other iPhone models as well),  the "Playback" page automatically defaults to "Apple Music" when I want to add tracks to jam to with my Code 50 amplifier.

My question for Marshall Support is: Can you make the iPhone Gateway App allow selections of tracks from locations other than "Apple Music" on the "Playback" page?

It would be great to be able to select tracks from my other files like "One Drive" or "Files".  Your competitors like the Boss GT-1 and the Spark 40 allow tracks to be added from ANY location when using their jam-along features. Limiting your choice to "Apple Music" really limits the jam-along experience on your app.

Thank you for considering making this useful update to your iPhone app.

Good day,  just want to make clear, once i had a power glitch (when i turned the amp on, power button was ok, but the channel and sound didn't appear and there was a click sound that at least it tried to) i noticed then that my power cable on the rear panel got loose a little so i set it properly and now always check the cables firstly before playing.  There are no problems anymore. So can a loose power cable be a culprit of such behavior? Is it dangerous for an amp? By the way there were no sparks or cracking sounds from the socket.

Always feel modeling amps lack the punch, the pick attack of an analog amp, but the CODE 100 does a good job, but it still sounds a bit like you are listening to a guitar track on a song instead of a live guitar performance.  Thats not a bad thing, the sound is smooth, it is clean, but it is different.   The cleanness of the sound is interesitng actually, the notes are far more distinct,  far less mushy and makes you play much cleaner.

Thi is in comparison to my IValve King 212 with messa boogie pre amp,  and 6L6  power valves.   Have had it years, but havent been able to get the solo tone I want out of it, it has always sounded harsh, though the messa boogie valves helped.  This is where the  CODE 100 excells, the solo tones are very clear with none of the noise, so tapping for example stantds out very nicely, whereas with the Peavey it was feeding back and very noisy at the levels needed to get any volume.

After a couple of days playing, the Plexi with gain is my preferd rythym sound and marshall fury with the reverb removed my prefered solo sound.

Not gigged it,  we are just a jamming group made up of ex band members and having a once a week laugh,  but I can imagine the amp would be fine in any pub type venue.

I will try it using the Peavey speakers over the weekend,   see what difference that makes.

Hello, and greetings Marshall, I just bought Marshall Major III Wired from the Marshall online store at Shopee Mall. So today, as soon as it arrived here, I would like to check the originality of the product using the serial number given. May I know where can I check this?

I'm currently shopping loopers and prefer the "buy once, cry once" mentality but also don't want to overbuy only to find out my current simplistic setup cannot take advantage of a pedal with too many features.

I'm looking at the Boss RC5 and RC10R, and my intention is to plug the pedal into my DSL40's effects loop rather than in-line with the guitar input.  My understanding is that in this location, the looper will receive the clean/overdrive/distortion tone I use when recording the loop, and play back that exact tone through the power amp, and the drum functionality in these pedals will be uncolored by the DSL40's preamp.  Is this a correct understanding?  I should be  able to record a loop using my clean tone and play back a clean tone after shifting the DSL40 to overdrive channel to accompany the clean loop with an overdriven lead, right?

Where does the DSL40's onboard reverb come into play in the effects loop?  Before or after the effect loop return?  If the loop pedal I buy has onboard reverb it can apply to drum accompaniments, will the Marshall reverb also be applied to it when it comes through the amp's effect loop return?

And finally, while this isn't a 100% Marshall question... how would one go about playing into a pedal like the RC10R and looping one's tone created on a DSL40, and then when time to play back the loop content, have that output go to a more neutral amplifier while still having guitar played through the Marshall?  I can't think of a way to do that short of micing the DSL40 and pushing that input into the RC10R, then having the RC10R output to a neutral amp.  If I send the effects loop out to the looper, will the DSL40 still play if there is no return from the looper?  Can i use the effects loop send like a signal splitter at the preamp?

I'm trying to hook the DI out from an Origin 20c amp to a Mackie Pro FX10 v3 mixer and then to powered speakers. I need the preamp channels on the mixer for mics so I want to plug the DI out to the line input on the mixer withou a gain control, it accepts both balanced and unbalanced. The result is a very weak signal compared to the mics. I'm using a TS cable because that's what Marshall says the DI out takes. Some more ther observations.
The attenuation effects the output, the strongest signal is with the amp on the high setting.
The master volume on the amp effects the signal strength.
If I max the main out and the channel level on the mixer, set the amp on high, and set the master on the amp past 12 o'clock I get a decent signal but that makes balancing between the mics and other instruments difficult and also complicates stage volume.
Is the DI out on the 20c -10dBV or +4dBV?  Would a Line Level Shifter fix this? Any other advise would help.
